The usual sort of tale in the wheat lands of Canada. The hero takes a long and venturesome journey to find his friend whom he is supposed to have murdered. There are descriptions of the country, fights with desperadoes, a girl who believes in the hero and the unraveling of the plot when the friend reappears of his own accord.
