The story is laid in Peru, where Colonel Campion, his son, and Cyril Norton go through innumerable adventures among the wildest parts of the valleys of the Andes, the object of their travels there being the obtaining of seeds of the cinchona, in order to increase the world's supply of quinine. The many hair-breadth escapes of the adventurers are told with all Mr. Fenn's accustomed spirit. 'Real Gold' is an admirable story which the boys will not be slow to appreciate.
